These Terms govern your use of the website and services of Civis Mundi d.o.o. ("Civis Mundi", "we"). By using our site or engaging our services you agree to these Terms. Consumer rights under mandatory Croatian and EU law are not affected.

2. Services
- Construction services: general construction, renovation, retrofit and project management, scoped in a written offer or contract.
- Consulting services: growth and operational consulting for companies, scoped in a written engagement letter.
3. Offers, contracts and prices
All offers are non-binding until confirmed in writing. Prices are stated in EUR and are exclusive of VAT unless otherwise indicated. The specific scope, deliverables, timeline, price and payment schedule are set in the individual contract or offer, which prevails over any general statements on this site.
4. Payments (Stripe and Klarna)
When online payment is offered, we use Stripe Payments Europe, Ltd. and/or Klarna Bank AB (publ) as payment service providers. By initiating a payment you also accept the applicable terms of the chosen provider (Stripe Services Agreement / Klarna user terms). Successful payment authorisation does not, by itself, constitute acceptance of an order; a contract is formed only when we confirm in writing.
- We never store full card numbers. Card data is captured and processed directly by Stripe.
- Klarna services (e.g. Pay Later, Pay in 3) are provided by Klarna directly to you and are subject to Klarna's credit assessment and terms. We are not a credit provider.
- We reserve the right to refuse or cancel an order in the event of suspected fraud, chargeback risk or breach of these Terms, in line with Stripe/Klarna requirements.
5. Delivery and acceptance
Delivery timelines are those stated in the individual contract. Acceptance procedures for construction work follow Croatian construction law and the agreed acceptance protocol. Consulting deliverables are deemed accepted if no written objection is received within the review period stated in the engagement letter.
6. Warranties
Statutory warranties for construction works apply as set by the Croatian Civil Obligations Act and applicable EU directives. For consumer contracts, the two-year legal conformity guarantee applies where required by law.
7. Cancellation and refunds
Cancellation, withdrawal and refund rules are set out in our Refund Policy. Where you contract with us as a consumer for services concluded at distance, the 14-day right of withdrawal under Croatian Consumer Protection Act and EU Directive 2011/83/EU applies, subject to its exceptions.
8. Liability
To the extent permitted by law, our liability for indirect or consequential damages is excluded. Nothing in these Terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, gross negligence, wilful misconduct, or any other liability that cannot be limited under Croatian law.
9. Intellectual property
The site content — text, graphics, logos, images — is owned by Civis Mundi or our licensors and may not be copied or reused without written permission.
10. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by Croatian law. Disputes fall under the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent court in Croatia. Consumers may additionally contact the EU Online Dispute Resolution platform at ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.
